Mini-Stay Junior Courses

We will be delighted to host your junior mini-stay students in Waterford – the heart of Ireland's Ancient East and the oldest, smallest and sunniest city on the island. Our main language learning focus is to develop English language fluency for use as a lingua franca (to improve international communication and understanding among speakers of all languages) in fun and friendly atmosphere.

     Our Classes:

15 - 20 (50 min each) are held each weekday morning. Students have two different teachers every day - the first period follows a textbook-led structure, while the second period has a stronger communicative focus. We use modern integrated-learning teaching materials specially designed to engage today's teens and we have teachers swap their second period classes once a week to add more variety of teaching styles and vocal comprehension. All students are tested weekly and receive a graded CEFR Academic Certificate.

      Our Homestay Accommodation:

We have been facilitating placments in host home, hotel, and residential accommodation since 2006;  hosthomes have been vetted and our hosts personally interviewed.

           Our Weekend, Afternoon & Evening Activities:

Students receive three to four off campus afternoon excursions (cultural, historical & active/sporting) every week! All students have a weekly evening cinema excursion and a social Disco Party. On Fridays and weekends there are escorted trips to Dublin, Cork, Kilkenny, Tipperary and Wexford.
